Using the idea of a simple panel applied onto a book cover as a starting point you can create an effective and decorative piece for working with metals and metal meshes. The panel is made of a selection of small ‘modules’ of varying sizes using the materials which you have.
It is easiest to make your piece if you first create a larger number of modules than you can fit onto the panel and then select your favourites. (You can probably use the extra pieces later to make book marks or cards or another piece!) A machine and/or handstitch course.
