Outcome
Explore and create samples

Dive into an exciting workshop exploring the dynamic interplay of staining, dripping, and splashing papers and fabrics to develop captivating assemblages by embracing spontaneity and instinctive decisions; stay ‘in the moment’ with your work. Use your worn-out shirts, jeans, coloured papers and fabrics from other workshops, even your messy drop-cloth – they'll add a unique touch! Drawing inspiration from the techniques of Japanese boro stitching, kantha stitching, and the art of 'make do and mend', we'll experiment with hand stitching, shaped wires, and plaster to add texture and interest to our pieces.
