Create a project
Create a beautiful bag based on traditional Indian embroidered spice bags. The base is a square, which we decorate then stitch together adding cords for straps and tassels. We will look at various decorative techniques including reverse applique with fine metal foils, stitch and beading. This is intended as a workshop using a sewing machine for some sections but can be adapted for handstitch only if desired.
