Thread booklets come in many sizes and shapes and are versatile in format and construction. Traditionally these are used as portable sewing boxes with compartments for on the go projects, threads, fabrics, needles, pins and templates and are from the Miao peoples of South West China or Northern Thailand. Once you have worked out how they work, you will be able to understand the construction of others and create your own design.
