This great technique is used to create intesively textured and stitched surfaces which we can manipulate and work into with further painting and stitching ideas. Expect to use easy dye methods, then combine your coloured fabrics using a sewing machine. Then reassemble a few times and re-stitch to create a mixed, textured fabric ready for stenilling, appliqueing and adding surface details. This workshop requires basic sewing machine techniques.
