Your Taking Textiles Further 2024 workshops (13/ 14 August and 20 /21 August) will explore the world of wire and plastics. These upcoming textile and sculpture workshops build on some of the techniques covered in 2023 though you do not need to have participated in those to book, and if you enjoyed the 2023 sessions, be prepared to continue your journey this year! Whether you're a seasoned artist or just starting out, these workshops are designed to inspire and empower you to push your creative boundaries. Under my guidance you'll have the opportunity to experiment with techniques that range from delicate jewellery making to crafting large-scale sculptures, hangings or framed pieces. The sessions are designed for you to be able to choose either of the date choices or all of them in which case you will be able to combine the techniques and ideas in more evolved and considered ways and get a great discount too! Using techniques such as crochet, knitting, and wrapping, we'll create both flat surfaces and three-dimensional structures.
