Lutradur and Zeelon are exciting and versatile textile for artists and designers, made up of polyester fibres fused together in a random, web-like fashion. They therefore look very different from conventional material, yet is deceptively strong and will not tear or fray. Lutradur is available in six different weights ranging from the lightest most translucent 25gms through to the heaviest Lutradur XL. Zeelon is similar in behaviour and weight to 30g Lutradur but is softer and more flexible. Lutradur and Zeelon can be painted, printed, dyed, sewn, shaped, layered, laminated and even moulded. It can also be distressed with either a heat gun or soldering iron.
