Explore, sample, create
Spend time making drawings using easy techniques which will develop the basis for your designs. Depending on how many days we have together, you will be introduced to a range of wires and wire techniques which can be used to create drawings, textile art, textures, jewellery and sculptures. In addition to wire you will experiment with adding materials such as paper, fabric, metal, thread, latex, car spray and more! You will have chance to experiment with print techniques for developing designs, for creating sections of your pieces and using the wires as printing objects. The outcomes will be a series of samples and experimental structures or you will have time to develop one or more works using your favourite techniques.
